Simple Pleasures

Simple Pleasures

Hello, hello, on this fresh new morning. Here, I woke to warmth having settled on us for what seems like the first time in many months. The sun is rising in that Spring haze. I hope your morning brought with it some sense of peace and perhaps eagerness for the day and days ahead. And if that has eluded you, in those moments of its absence I help myself by recalling this wisdom … “Ego says, “Once everything falls into place, I'll feel peace.” Spirit says, “Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.”

These simple, ordinary, everyday things help to bring me there… I hope they might inspire you of your own, if you find it difficult to muster.

— Clarissa Pinkola Estés
